Collaborator
and Community Builder

I am one who... purchased a mountain home on nearly three acres of land that would become Pine Manor, a gathering place and creative canvas for therapists, body workers, artists, energy workers, musicians, spiritual leaders, poets, writers. Both students and teachers were drawn to this sanctuary. The magic of the land and the endless opportunities invited collaboration and creativity.  As we built earthen buildings to provide more space, we continued to build community. The building projects inspired connection as people worked together to expand the vision of Pine Manor.

I am one who... developed programs and supported others who offered their own retreats. Various groups came to Pine Manor to learn, to spend time in nature, to meditate, to write, to share and to walk in silence. Other groups focused on inner healing through therapy and spiritual inquiry.  People were invited to collaborate.  Eventually Pine Manor became a beloved home for many groups.

We were blessed with a diversity of people who were drawn to different offerings.  Pine Manor welcomed diversity among staff members, facilitators, work trade kids, and residents.  This expanded my perspective and allowed people from all walks of life to deepen their connection with themselves, with one another, and with nature. Pine Manor ignited inspiration and welcomed people home to themselves.

(Pine Manor was sold in 2022 and the main complex was totally destroyed in the Airport Fire in September, 2024.)
